Logo

The logo of the university expresses Indian thinking, sublime thoughts, good intentions and divine values. The elevated Kalash of the Mahakaleshwar temple with the aura of the sun and the flag indicates progress, enthusiasm, vigor and knowledge. The Lotus symbolizes prosperity, purity, beauty and fragrance. The Padma Patra (Lotus Leaf) is revealing the philosophical aspect of selfless Karmayoga. The swan couple (Hansdvaya ) is the symbol of knowledge, science, appreciation of qualities and wisdom. While the clear flowing water indicates the traditional scriptural knowledge and eternal circle of life.

Motto “Sanskrita nama devi vak”

The central motto of the university is taken from Mahakavi Dandi’s Kavyadarsha (33) who opines that Sanskrit is the language of Gods and inculcating it in daily life helps us to achieve divine qualities.
